Effect Details

• The Props: The trick includes three small, differently colored turtles (typically red, white, and black), a small opaque box, and a hollow plastic tube often referred to as a "magic wand".
• The Routine: While the magician's back is turned, a spectator chooses one turtle and places it inside the small box. They then hide the remaining two turtles in their hands so the magician has no physical clues.
• The Reveal: The magician turns around and peers through the hollow "wand" or tube into the closed box. By looking through this device, the magician can instantly and accurately name the color of the turtle inside.
